The Doctors

I am continually grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that blessed me as I grew up in the Martinsburg area and returned to practice dentistry here. The dental practice and staff have both grown and changed since I joined my father-in-law, Dr. Clark Jeffries’ practice in 1990, but we continue to strive to provide the same personal, friendly, and caring approach in treating our patients.
Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a dentist and after 30 Years of practice, I can honestly say that I still enjoy my profession. Contributing in a huge way to the pleasure of my job are my wonderful staff and partner; is knowing and meeting the people of our community.
When not in the dental office, my wife, Jami and I enjoy being with our grown children and their families— Christopher (with whom I have the pleasure of practicing dentistry), his wife Chelsea, and our grandchildren Henry, Winnie, and Annie; daughter Emilee and her husband Connor; and Benjamin and his wife Amy. Jami and I together have an extensive vegetable garden in the summer, hike often, and try to visit Maine once a year. We are thankful…gobbler season.

I have been practicing dentistry with my dad in my hometown since I graduated from dental school in 2016. I have greatly enjoyed living and working in the community where I grew up. Dentistry has given me the opportunity to help and care for many people that have helped and cared for me throughout my life. I have learned so much about what it means to know and follow Jesus through my interactions with my patients and co-workers, and seek to practice dentistry in a way that honors Christ. The restoration of teeth and alleviation of oral infections are ways that I am able to tangibly work toward restoring a broken world.
I understand that many people experience a tremendous amount of fear and anxiety when in the dental chair. I want my patients to know that I completely understand those feelings, and I do my best to make each patient feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
I am happy to live in the Cove with my wife Chelsea and three kiddos, Henry, Winnie, and Annie. We all enjoy hiking, camping, and bird hunting with our English setters, Meadow and Clover. A few of my other hobbies include fly-fishing, archery hunting, and cooking wild game. We are members of St. John's Reformed Church in Loysburg, where I teach the Young Families Sunday School Class.
